We-met the snav just south of Waiowru and ‘drove on snow covered ~ roads to the Chateau. Goats were running (just), so we made it to the Hut. Saturday was windy with snow blowing everywhere, the road well Grifted over, and generally indoors weather. Most people ventureé out for a short wniie but little serious instruction was able to be carried out. Sunday was little better. but at least the road was abie to be cleared. Some limited instruction - Was aivaH before we packed up an nd Tieaded home. lingoxtunatedy.. the weather completely disrupted this AIC so we will have.to condense the other two to include the required instruction and -:practice. Finally, I shall be overseas from now till October 10 and the ‘Chief Guides Sub-committee will be acting for me (Dave Wills, Kev Thompson, .Jack McCanchie ané Dave Noble}, Any of them should be able to answer any queries regerding field activity. Good tramping, climbing, and skiing. See you in October ~ Woody
