Nick Miller led a revised Fit trip up the Panatewaewae stream, first through flats and then up a rocky stream until a bluff and a waterfall barred our way.:-,We climbed a ridge on to Waitewaewae. The bush had been flattened in the 30's by the same storm that affected Oriwa ridge. Once on top it was a steep descent to the right branch of Prout Stream... iA magnificent waterfall was easily sidled on the right.
