Dropping of (Waiopehu) we got..into BBS, Sitios and spent 20 minutes bashzng ‘before getting into the beech.’ However that was the, end of the bush—baghing. ~ Man, of the way there were animal tracks to follow. We: ‘arrived: at’ ‘the campsite. about 15 minutes Mp Brout ' Stream at 3.30pm. Next morning we were away at’ dawn again. By 10am we were. on the ridge between the (Hast Waitewaewae) and Prout. Stream looking:across at the main range. .To the west Egmont was visable.
