Brilliant moonlight followed Mark Neeson, Eric Evans, Buncks and Dave Humm across the southern crossing of the Tararuas on Thursday 9 August. They left Otaki at 6.30pm and arrived at Kaitoke at 9am, and then they went to work! A great trip reports Buncks - a full moon and shin-deep snow.
