June 29-30 Two trips, one to Fields, led by Genevieve Jonss and a Squthern , Main Range, led } by Kev Thompson, wiich, due to conditions didn't eee beyond Maungahuka, e July 5-7 First ‘snow aT, C.- After bad weather on Bo etna vy, an early start on Sunday, attempting to catch up on lost time, and all practised ona snow slope above 4.C.. making good progress, July 12-24 Three trips - Paul Aubrey leading a trip along the iol dsworth- Mitre ridge, with some snow underfoot for a change, Neil Green lei an ascent of holdsworth, wich his 8 year o:d son included. Alan Farish's fit trip piked at Powell, under instructions from tieir leader, July 17-15 .4 smail turnout, with only one Gourmet trin running, Hoever this turned out a sucess, thanks to Mita Harding for the organisatin. Also one .of our Cabinet-makers gave a few tips fror the trade with an axe, July 2€-28 Second snow A.I.C.
