Cold Journey ~ As anyone whe has been involved can vouch, Search and Rescue missions are seldom easy tasks - even less so when ashappened recently a team was asked to travel down the Upper Raamshunga Gorge in mid July with the tops covered in snow, Four hardy T. & Ms rose to the occasion and armed with wet suits were landed by helicopter On Pukematawai to cOmmence their task. Perhaps the four team members were not the Only Ones suffering as they camped half way down the gorge on the first nicht - Gone member left his wife after only two days back from their honeymoon to lead the team} The good keen men were Tony Gazley, Richard Struthers, Kevin Thompson & Gerry Kennedy.
