Bruce McKinlay reports fine weather and shelter from a blustery North Wester during a day of rock climbing for club members. Several newcomers were shown the ropes and a couple of difficult routes were forced on the Lava Torri Wall. Highlights included the Assistant Chief Guide's brush with the Law (speeding???) and Bruce getting stuck half way up a face on the Pinnacle.
